The listed character descriptions do not match the characters from the book, e.g.:

• There is no "group" or "party" or "team" in the story, so these references are confusing
• Viv is an orc; "young woman" is an inaccurate description
• Fern never does any magic in the book
• Varine is the main antagonist that doesn't appear until the final chapter(s) of the book
• Potroast is a small pet (see book cover illustration)
• Iridia is the local Gatewarden (e.g. local law or "sheriff")
• etc.

In my opinion, all of the edits done by Carbonblyre reduced the quality of the article. For example, the plot summary was better prior to the recent edits.

I'm not comfortable reverting the changes, and I'm not a good enough writer to correct the content, but I point out these inaccuracies in the hope that someone that is more familiar with Wikipedia's editing policies can improve the article. 73.34.145.225 (talk) 17:32, 7 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
