Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, CoolMoon Corp, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.
Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up very shortly to answer your questions. Don't be afraid to ask!
If you would like to experiment with Wikipedia, I invite you to do so in my own personal sandbox (just follow the simple rules!) or in the Wikipedia sandbox.
When you contribute on talk pages or in other areas, it is important to sign your posts by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

Again, welcome! — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 21:10, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:AFC05.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:AFC05.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:04, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Tags

[edit]

Please do not remove cleanup tags without addressing them. Melchoir 22:14, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very sorry about that, I'm trying to learn, and I hope this is the right place to reply to your message.CoolMoon Corp 22:42, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! I think the tags are self-explanatory; if you don't understand the terms they use, just click on the links. In particular, I'd like to draw your attention to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox and Wikipedia:Notability (companies and corporations). RE: help

[edit]

From the warning on your page here, it seems that you need to do the following:

  1. Simply use copyright tags when you upload an image
  2. Avoid removing tags, and if you do so, discuss the removal on the article's talk page.

ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 22:25, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You simply need to justify their removal in the manner that you see fit. Over time, you'll learn all the wikipedia policies that will make justifying your decisions a breeze, but in the mean time you can do research on wikipedia or just put together a good argument if you are having a debate with someone over an article. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 22:44, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

cleanup

[edit]

If your article is up to standards, there is absolutely no reason for it to be deleted. Anways, you should never just blank a talk page, no matter what's on it. It helps other editors understand the history of the page, and maybe get a better understanding of what it's about. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 20:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Just re-read your message and I get what you're saying now. What I said above is all correct, but to answer your question: no, even after cleanup is complete, the talk page should not be cleared. — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 20:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks pretty good now. Now you need to wikify the text and maybe rewrite a little bit. May I suggest you use the photoshop article as an example? — ßottesiηi Tell me what's up 16:28, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Free rationale for File:LVP052Q.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:LVP052Q.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under Non-Free content criteria but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a Non-Free rationale.

If you have uploaded other Non-Free media, consider checking that you have specified the Non-Free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:42, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
