external-dns and private IP

Hi Guys,

We've run external-dns behind a LoadBalancer with a public IP but the org is switching to a hub-and-spoke model that uses a private IP for the Ingress. Is there a way to communicate the public (firewall) IP to the external-dns operator so we can still use it for managing our DNS?

What about the "target" annotation for your ingress? external-dns.alpha.kubernetes.io/target
This allows to override the ip normally picked up by external-dns with a custom one
