I'm told iPadOS 17 supports USB-video input using Safari.
The VDO.Ninja native app for iOS and Android supports screen capture, so it's possible to screen share your HDMI input, and perhaps crop the resulting video in OBS.
There are third party apps I believe that have HDMI support also, and some may be able to publish into VDO.Ninja via WHIP, although I've not seen one yet that works all that well in p2p mode.
Raspberry.Ninja is something I can support, and it supports HDMI cameras when connecting to a SBC, like a Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, or Orange Pi 5 Plus. Raspberry.Ninja can publish into VDO.Ninja, with very low latency.
Adding HDMI support to the VDO.Ninja native app is something I'm keen to make happen, however the resources and time to make it happen make it challenging for me to pull off. I'll likely need some community help to have that become possible in the short term.
Are there some mobile app that support HDMI input into a mobile phone like the Sony Xperia Pro?
Regards
Antonio
