As of August 2021, KU maintain de campuses wey dey follow:[1]

1. Ggaba: De main campus dey insyd neighborhood wey dey Makindye Division, approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) southeast of de central business district (CBD) of Kampala, de capital den largest city of Uganda.[2] De coordinates of de main campus be 0°15'38.0"N, 32°38'08.0"E (Latitude:0.260556; Longitude:32.635556).[3]

3. Masaka: Approximately 137 kilometres (85 mi) southwest of Kampala.[5]

History

Dem found KU insyd 1999. De founding vice chancellor, Badru Kateregga, togeda plus oda academics den entrepreneurs pool resources make dem establish de varsity. E receive ein license from de Uganda National Council for Higher Education insyd 2000.[9][10]

During de varsity ein graduation ceremony for March 2012 insyd, dem award 2,048 graduates degrees, diplomas, den certificates for various disciplines insyd. Of dese, na 57.9 percent be male den 42.1 percent be female. Seventy-four graduates receive master's degrees den 24 receive postgraduate diplomas.[11]

KU be affiliate plus de East African University (TEAU) insyd Kitengela, Kenya. Badru Kateregga, de vice chancellor of KU, sanso dey serve as chairmo of de board of trustees of TEAU.[12]
