Obamadon est exstinctum cladi Polyglyphanodontium ordinis Squamatorum genus, ex Cretaceo exeunte in America Septentrionali et praecipue Formatione Lance in Vyomina endemicum. Quod investigatores describunt "altis dentibus tenuibus cum magnis cuspidibus mediis a parvis cuspidibus accedentibus a canalibus lingualibus separatis" distinctum esse.[1][2]

Typus generis est Obamadon gracilis, ex Baraco Obama praeside Civitatum Foederatarum appellatus, species "quae spectat ad altos dentes rectos et modum quo Dominus Obama personam pro bona hygiena orali prae mundo egit."[3][4] Secundum Nicolaum R. Longrich Universitatis Yalensis, animal vivum "probabiliter fuit pes longum, [et] his altis dentibus tenuibus insecta et materiam plantarum comedere solebat."[5][6]
