Dark fantasy from the 80s is such a specific niche, that it's hard to come by. I think movies like this are much more appreciated because you can really see the effort being put in with the character designs, costumes, etc. I don't think we'll ever see anything similar to this again, but hopefully one day we will!

Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
A great movie, with one of the best opening sequences I've seen in a long time! While the plot was a bit lackluster, it stays true to Marvel's classic formula of creating fun, cinematic experiences. The comedy in this was gold, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds just have perfect chemistry!

Longlegs 2024
I thought Nicolas Cage was pretty incredible in this, we gotta give the man his flowers! While I did enjoy Longlegs, I will say that I was expecting a bit more. It was a tad overhyped in my opinion, but the marketing team did incredible to get butts in seats! I've seen some say they enjoyed the beginning more than the end, but I actually enjoyed the last act better. Overall a pretty cool movie and one you should definitely go see!
