This was the first step down in this series and while it’s a fairly big gap in quality I do appreciate it a lot. The setting and location is interesting and works well, the Alien and additional lore is good and the way it’s defeated is different from most entries.

I watched the extended cut this time and it’s pretty disappointing that they didn’t bother to fix up the wonky blue/green screen. Like surely a simple colour grading effect would have masked it somewhat.

Killing off Newt and Hicks immediately was dumb even if the latter was retconned in a game.
