This was a surprisingly good time.
Didn’t have any expectations going into it.
It was fast-paced and held my attention from the start. I really enjoyed the chase sequences and the dynamic shots used during them. The COVID social relevancy/ commentary was pretty clever and carried out in a fashion that wasn’t overly frustrating and/or forced like I’ve seen in other shows/movies.
Can we also talk about how this horror movie actually has a smart, capable, and agile female lead?? I appreciate seeing these kind of final girls.
My only critique would be that I didn’t really feel any attachment to the characters. More time with them and insight into the characters before the slashing would’ve been nice.
