Prior to the release of this film, Al Pacino hadn't been in a movie in 4 years, and that was Revolution, perhaps his worst ever. Saturday Night 2024
The best compliment I can pay Saturday Night is that it feels like a Saturday Night Live episode. It's electric, manic, wild, over the top, messy, and loses its footing a few times but always leaves you remembering moments. In my entire life, I've never remembered an entire SNL episode, but I sure do remember sketches and jokes. I'll always fondly remember this movie the same way.
