Oh no. OH NO. Thankfully we got a new movie after this one because damn, this one is a HUGE letdown!

„Vicious Circles“ as the frame narrative, I liked the ending a lot, but this one is so unconnected from the other shorts, it feels like just another tape that they should have included and made a new frame narrative!

„Dante the Great“ is an interesting idea with a cool concept and probably the best short in this, simply for its execution. It‘s well shot and acted, but lacks scares and violence, which is a part of this franchise! The ending was also a downer, I would have wished for something else!

„Parallel Monsters“ has an interesting idea, and a cool concept as well. But the execution is bad. It features one moment of shocker and then drags on and on. No violence in this one as well and an ending that is foreseeable, this one is a huge letdown.

„Bonestorm“… just no. Where is the story in this? What is this supposed to be? Maybe I am just not getting it because I am too bored but damn, the characters are unlikable and so boring stereotypes and wow, what a BAD way to end the movie!

„Gorgeous Vortex“ is not included in the main film and is more like a bonus short, but should have been included, as it feels like a very good execution but was probably just cut for not being a found footage short. If they made it a found footage one and included it, it would have helped this movie at least a bit!

This movie was a massive step down and a total waste of time. It‘s in no way on the same level as the first or second V/H/S movie but thankfully, the next one brought the series back from the dead!
