Multiple Man, Multiple Man,
doin' the things a multiple can...
What's he like, it's not important, Multiple Man.
Is he a lot, or is he alone?
A super clown or a super clone?
His own beginning and his own end,
his own best friend,
Multiple Man...
- —"Multiple Man" (sung to the tune of They Might Be Giants's "Particle Man")[src]
History
Weird Al was a musician. He released an album named Wings on Her Fingers that was described as an all-mutant parody album and was available in five different editions for collections. One of his songs was "Multiple Man," about the real superhero Multiple Man, sung to the tune of "Particle Man." The song was played on the radio.[1]
Trivia
- In real life, Weird Al does release songs set to the tune of popular successes. "Particle Man" is a 1990 song by rock band They Might Be Giants. Although Weird Al has not released anything to "Particle Man" yet, a parody like that corresponds to his style.
