History
Iron Man shared a similar history to his Earth-616 counterpart until Thor went to see the Avengers and requested their help in fixing the madness he thought had come over Odin for not allowing Jane to become a god. Thor and the Avengers returned to Asgard and began to set out to go to war against Odin and his troops. The Grand Vizier gave each of the Avengers new abilities to take on the Asgardians and enhanced Iron Man's armor with magic. During the ensuing battle, Iron Man traveled to the palace and was able to call a truce, but was killed by Loki before he could deliver this news.[1]
