History
Ecbatan was a triplanetary world interconnected in a similar formation as Homeworld and had been a satrapy of Homeworld under the administration of the Acroyears. The Acroyear fleet had come to their aid after they came under attack by the mercenary Black Fleet and successfully defeated them. The world's leader Laios told Acroyear and Lady Illyrie that a rebellion led by his son was the responsible party for hiring the fleet but this turned out to be a fabrication and ultimately led to his demise.[1]
