Matter Mobilizer

The Watcher used his Matter Mobilizer to raise an artificial fire-shield on Earth, trying to conceal the planet from Silver Surfer. He then substituted inorganic space debris in its place, once he acknowledged the widespread panic caused by the flaming sky^[1].
