Ororo Munroe (Earth-8096)

After the explosion in the X-Mansion, Storm was living in Africa, in peace. The Shadow King telepathically took over her body and made her think the entire village was on fire. Using her powers to the best of her abilities she proceeded to create violent waves, strong winds, frightening lightning, thunder, and hailstorms resulting in turbulent wasteland. All this being the result of her being under the impression that she was saving Africa, when in all reality she was causing its destruction. The X-Men then came to recruit her back to the team and stop her from using her powers. After a telepathic probe of Ororo's mind, Emma Frost discovered that she was under Shadow King's control and a battle then ensued between him and Emma on the Astral Plane, with Emma being victorious. Storm was then released from the Shadow King's mental control, realizing what she'd done and immediately using her powers to reverse the effects. After an invitation back to the team, she left Africa once more and rejoined the X-Men.^[1]

Storm/Ororo Munroe has the power of weather manipulation and weather control. She can summon up things such as: wind, rain, lightning, fog, and blizzards. Storm can fly by summoning wind currents strong enough to support her weight.

Storm also has energy perception, ecological empathy, limited heat and cold, and limited psychic resistance.
