History
Polites was one of the many sons of King Priam of Troy.[1]
He fought for his city during the Trojan War, after his brother Paris had stolen Helen from her husband Menelaus, king of Sparta.[1]
When the Argives eventually entered the city at the tenth year of the war, Menelaus led Diomedes and Achilles' son Neoptolemus to Priam's throne room.[1]
Priam had deserted it, but Neoptolemus found there his sons Pammon, Polites and Antiphonus, which he all slew in instants.[1]Paraphernalia
