Sir Wulf (Earth-616)

Sir Wulf was an artificially evolved red wolf created by the High Evolutionary as one of his Knights of Wundagore following the first assault on his citadel by the mutant Exodus, believing that his knights needed the ferocity of a wolf on their side to survive future attacks.^[1] He represented one of the new generation of New Men created by the Evolutionary's Isotope-E along with White Tiger and Lady Vermin.^[2]

Because one of his previously evolved wolves, the Man-Beast, eventually turned on him, the Evolutionary feared the other knights would not fully trust Wulf and gave him a suit of armor which covered his entire body, leaving his species ambiguous.^[2] Now known as "Lord Anon", Wulf became second-in-command of the team under Sir Ram.

At some point roughly one year before the second siege of Wundagore by the Acolytes, Sir Wulf was killed by Man-Beast who secretly replaced him as Lord Anon to infiltrate the team. His skeleton was discovered by Bova in an infirmary deep under Wundagore Mountain, run through with a sword.^[2]
