Sunset Bain (Earth-8410)

Sunset Bain's early history on Earth-8410 presumably mirrors that of her Earth-616 counterpart.

By the year 2020, she was in her seventies, although various beauty treatments and surgeries kept her looking much younger. Her company, Baintronics, held a monopoly over robot sales, making it the richest corporation in the world.

She had, at some point in the 1980s, had Machine Man disassembled and put into storage. She had also rebuilt the robot Jocasta, and kept her as an adviser and friend.^[1]

When the scavengers known as the Midnight Wreckers found and reassembled Machine Man, Bain went to extreme efforts to destroy him and the Wreckers, dispatching various robotic enforcers and hiring the mercenary Iron Man to kill Machine Man. Eventually, she was confronted at her headquarters by Machine Man, and was forced to agree to leave him and his allies alone.^[2]
