History
Warren Worthington III joined the island of Krakoa created by the X-Men. To govern Krakoa, was established a governing body called the Inner Circle, composed by some of the most influential mutants on the island and Apocalypse was invited to take a seat on it. During one of their meetings, Krakoa was attacked by the new Tri-Sentinel, manufactured by Orchis, but the mutants of Krakoa came out victorious from the skirmish.[1]
At some point, Arkon, ruler of Polemachus and conqueror of Arakko challenged the Krakoans to a crossing of swords, challenge that Apocalypse accepted along with ten other mutants. During the duel, Archangel faced his old teammates of the Horsemen of Apocalypse. After the Krakoans won, Archangel decided to stay on Polemachus along with Apocalypse and the Horsemen, the new governors of the land.[2] Archangel's seat on the Inner Circle went to Dark Beast.[3]
Archangel heard Jubilee's message before the reset of the universe.[4]Trivia
- Boom-Boom and Whiz Kid created a compilation of songs, called Inner Circle Jams Vol. 1, with each song dedicated to one of the members of the Inner Circle. The song dedicated to Apocalypse was "How Do You Talk To An Angel" by The Heights.[1]
