GNP Crescendo Records is a record company. The company was founded in 1954 as "Gene Norman Presents", and issued live jazz recordings from concerts promoted by Norman.
In the 1980s, GNP acquired the score recording master tapes from Star Trek: The Original Series, which enabled them to begin releasing Star Trek soundtracks. Neil Norman, son of founder Gene, was responsible for the company's expansion into soundtracks for movies and television shows, which led to releases including Forbidden Planet, Farscape, and Stargate SG-1.
