The NCC-1701/3 type shuttlecraft was a shuttlecraft type used by Starfleet in 2269.
Three shuttlecraft of this type were stowed aboard the USS Enterprise that year. (TAS: "Mudd's Passion")
This type of craft was described as an "armored shuttlecraft" in the episode's storyboard sketches. It was later clarified in layout notes for the episode that it was an "armored landing craft not shuttle". (Star Trek: The Official Guide to the Animated Series, pp. 81, 16)
