The release of The Next Generation on iTunes began in 2013 with the release of the first season on the service. The Next Generation was the last show to appear on iTunes, the other four live-action shows were on iTunes a few years before. Unlike The Original Series releases on iTunes, only the remastered version is available to purchase. Seasons are available in SD and HD.
