Casey was a 24th century Human man, a command division officer serving in Starfleet in the 2380s decade aboard the USS Cerritos under the command of Captain Carol Freeman.
Biography[]
He often served as a flight controller. (LD episodes: "Second Contact", "Temporal Edict", "Veritas") He was once knocked unconscious on the bridge when his console exploded. (LD episode: "No Small Parts")
In the year 2381, Casey led the Redshirts club on the Cerritos, teaching Brad Boimler various aspects of looking commanding. He dismissed Boimler from the club after seeing him act silly on purpose in order to save D'Vana Tendi. Later, Casey was given command of the ship near the end of a shift change, but it was only for a few moments before the next duty shift arrived. (LD episode: "The Spy Humongous")
As the rogue artificial intelligence Badgey began trapping USS Cerritos officers and visitors in the starship's holodeck, Casey served as acting captain on the real ship. When he also became trapped, he had to adjust to Boimler being acting captain of the holo-Cerritos. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, Boimler assigned Casey to oversee a simulation of the Bajoran Fire Caves with Castro. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive)
