Dalit Sarai was an Efrosian commander in Starfleet.

In 2385, Sarai was serving as a Starfleet Intelligence Liaison to Starfleet Headquarters. In August of that year, she circumvented Starfleet Command, specifically Admiral Akaar, by passing intelligence to President Pro Tempore Ishan Anjar that she believed the President needed to know and that she felt Akaar wasn't listening to her warnings. At a Starfleet Command meeting, Sarai expressed her beliefs that Julian Bashir had accessed the Taurus meta-genome data. (ST - The Fall novel: A Ceremony of Losses)

Akaar would later post Sarai to Luna. (ST - The Fall novel: The Poisoned Chalice)

Sarai later became the first officer of the USS Titan under Captain Christine Vale. (TTN novel: Sight Unseen)
