A field ration (also called rations or ration packs, or combat rations) is a pre-packaged meal carried by military troops in combat and other field operations, which require little or no preparation.
During the Occupation of Bajor, Bajorans who worked for or collaborated with the Cardassians ran food ration centers like in Relliketh.
