The Legendary Command Exploration Cruiser is a Star Trek Online dev blog published on the ARC website on January 24, 2020. The developer blog was written by Cryptic Studios community rep Mike "AmbassadorKael" Fatum.

Summary[]

This blog is an entry in the Star Trek Online series Season 18: Awakening and STO video game: Legacy. It introduces the legendary command exploration cruiser category, a subclass of the legendary starship, command starship and exploration cruiser. The legendary command exploration cruiser is based on the Galaxy-class exploration cruiser and its sister ship classes, and includes a facelift of these for the occasion of the game's 10th anniversary.

The dev blog includes a render of a USS Enterprise-D and the brand-new Ross-class USS Ross, whose design includes visual cues of the Sovereign-class cruiser.

The blog also acts as a sub-page to the STO website: Legacy: 10th Anniversary Legendary Starship Bundles.
