The USS Murat (NCC-4398) was a Federation Larson-class class VIII destroyer starship in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century.

The Murat was built to Mk I specifications and entered service around reference stardate 1/9704. She was later refitted to Mk II specifications around stardate 1/9807 and later to Mk VI specifications on stardate 2/1204. Finally, she was refitted to Mk VII specifications on stardate 2/1505.
