Service history[]

The Walker entered service in the year 2221. Initially successful, the class spawned several ships.

On June 15, 2256, the news service Jayce's Interstellar reported the revival of the ageing Walker class. The report included an image of the Walker stationed near a Federation starbase. (STO: Jayce's Interstellar website: "Starfleet Executing Crash Mobilization Program for Walker-Class Starships")

The Walker remained active around the years 2256-2257 and saw action against the Klingons in the Federation-Klingon War of 2256-2257. (ST video game: Adversaries)
