NFA- Wiki Project

The Ghanaian Movie industry dates back to the colonial era prior to Ghana’s independence. Over the years our movie industry has seen great players from actors, directors, cast amongst many who have contributed tremendously to the growth of the industry.

However, most of these people have been forgotten and haven’t received significant coverage for their achievements on the internet. This project seeks to bridge the huge content gap by getting real African stories and viewpoints on the web, specifically Wikipedia, Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons. This is a call to all Ghanaians to participate in this contest and contribute to projecting the Ghanaian movie industry on the web. We encourage you to write articles, upload images and videos on prominent personalities, Ghanaian historical and contemporary cinema, theatre and arts, and any other activity that contributes to the Ghanaian movie industry.
