A couple things regarding how I give scores:

I only give scores to shows that I have completed, and I tend to only finish shows I think I'll like based on what I've seen. As such, if my average score seems a little high, that's probably why.

Some of my completed anime do not have scores; this is because I saw the show a long time ago and as it is not fresh in my memory, and/or my tastes have changed, I decided not to give it a score.

I try to go by the 3-episode rule, but sometimes a show is just really bad from the get-go and I can tell it's going to suck, or I'm just not interested in the premise or execution enough to continue.
