Yes, it's an autobiographical book where the boy actually survived and is blaming himself for the death of his sister from hunger. Yes, maybe someone knows where to find rarity anime.

I didn't have any TV series to watch at the time and decided to watch ongoing series. Interestingly 4 titles I'm watching are coming out on Thursdays and Vanitas no carte comes out on Fridays. For now my favourites are Peach boy Riverside and Vanitas no carte. Main characters in both are crazy in a good way which makes these shows very cool.

I think I'll make a separate list about this topic like you've probably saw that I made top 10 lists by years with help of Malgraph. I used to have a list of unpopular anime I watched, but then it grew so big that I deleted it. It's hard now to say what is unpopular, because some anime have high score and low amounts of views.

Yes , and the boy didn't react on his mother's death, but was quite upset when his aunt scolded him for laziness. I think the book is more consistent and doesn't have such weird moments. I haven't searched for it though.

Besides 5 ongoing series I'm not watching other TV shows, because 5 titles is a lot for me XD
