Ohh, very interesting! I have a collection of books about countries, and one of the first two I got was about Afghanistan, and was published around the start of 2001 when the terrorist movement there was still going strong. I was glad that the big focus was about the people and lifestyle there but they also touched up on the more serious parts like the war and how the politics at the time of the Gulf War affected things in the early 2000s. Its sad to know how people keep fighting wars all the time, like the current one between Ukraine and Russia or Israël and Palestine, if people listened to the messages of Peace instead and opted to talk things out instead of resorting to violence, things might be different and innocent lives wouldn't have to be lost..
Idk if you know this song, but I think it gives a good message about the futility of war, while also sounding quite catchy (imho): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01-2pNCZiNk
Undead Unluck is far from the flowery and dainty things we do in Monia Cafe, lol, but it is by far one of the most solid, best romance manga of all times, despite the beginning parts being quite vulgar at time..^^'3 Honestly speaking, its one of the VERY FEW examples of a series where the gore elements aren't detrimental, but rather enhance the story telling, and I'm glad the anime catched on to those parts correctly, even though the beginning of the anime feels very strange as a manga reader, since one of the essential elements (the crowd of people onlooking Fuuko as she attempts to suicide herself) are not present, which makes me wonder how the anime will adapt the later crucial part in the series where that crowd is needed there. Undead Unluck also has an amazing way with dealing with harder subjects like death, grief, loss, etc. which not a lot of other stories do tbh! It might be a mid-tier shounen series to some, but its won my heart as the best one out there at the moment!
I haven't gotten a job yet, but I've gotten a very positive reply lately, so for now I am waiting for an opening to happen there (it is a job with the government and will pay quite nicely while also fitting my work criterias!). Since that might take a while though, I'm also looking for other temporary or seasonal postings to apply to so I can at least get a bit of money in the meanwhile, lol~=v=3
As for braces, I recently started elastics, which are quite annoying, and honestly, it might take a bit longer now for them to be done, but I'll try to get back into wearing them again tbh..x'd
I was quite busy this Summer with driving lessons and getting my first permit, and now I will be able to start my practical lessons this Fall! I'm excited to start driving, but also a little bit scared since I don't know if I'll be able to do it well or not..^^'>3
I got to meet my IRL friends for the first time in ages for my birthday this year, which was great, though I feel old now, since a lot of my friends have kids and/or a house of their own, lol..x'D>
I've also gotten back to anime and am juggling hobbies with my other IRL stuff.
Good to know you've been relaxing, Hime-tan, you seem to work hard all the time so its good to know you can take breaks!=v=b
I hope we both manage to survive hahaha
Yes, I've also heard that it's best to read the novel first to advance with the animations, I still have to read it too hahaha
Oh that's good, and where is your hometown from?
It's fine ^^ oh I see. When I was gaming ages ago, I had some active clubs then as well. Sometimes having plot list is fun but sometimes making own one is nice for change too
Ah I see ^^ for me I've wondered should I write mine down but at the same time I think have storage in my head but idk is it that trustworthy xD
How's volume 5?
In my case, I'm fine, surviving adulthood hahaha
ohhh I'm also a fan of Illya, have you seen Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya??, I highly recommend that you read the visual novel, it's quite entertaining and tells you things that were not explored in stay night
Sorry for the late response :'(, these months were quite busy
