I wrote down stuff for a video. But I decided to wait till October just in case something pops up for at least the 40th anniversary of the Toei FOTNS anime. Hoping there's some related news with the new anime, too. I can only guess that maybe the new anime will be releasing more than 12 episodes a year. At least that sounds like a good reason for why things have been so quiet.
Hardly anything. On Sep 12 for the 41st anniversary, we basically got a "we're still working on it" message from the artist Tetsuo Hara & the official Fist Of The North Star Twitter account. I'm also expecting some kind of news for the 40th anniversary for the Toei anime but that doesn't seem like it's celebrating anything. I'd assume there'd be news of an anime event like Kinnikuman did but nothing has popped up.
I am actually redoing everything from the scratch, because on my previous profile over 95% of the scores are older than 5 years, and my tastes and look on anime and manga have somewhat changed over the years. So, the stuff you see on this profile are all of the stuff i've watched or read within the previous year. I am very happy that Ashita no Joe is still BY FAR the best thing i've ever read, you may notice that i do not have 9's and 10's anymore ( apart from Ashita no Joe ), could be that i am slowly becoming into a cynical old man that doesn't like anything, but i've think it's more that i've seen enough and have matured enough to the point where i am not as easily impressed as i used to be. Hell, believe it or not, i used to go through a phase ( when i was just starting to watch anime, i was around 18 at the time, which is also the time when i made the previous profile ) where everything i watched was a 10/10, including all the trashy stuff, ahh those were the days.
Anyway, i just finished samurai champloo, and it was... decent, it's not as impressive as Cowboy Bebop, but still quite an entertaining and stylistic show ( and i'm a sucker for those ). Gonna start watching Baccano tomorrow, and after that, probably Monster.
Well how about that, someone still making a comments on my account in 2024. This is a new one, i've been on this website since i was 18, i will soon be 28. My tastes have changed throughout the years, will take some time to update the profile :)
Ah alright, that makes sense. If I were you I'd just add all the anime from my old account's list to my new account's list so that way I wouldn't have to rely on the old account for anything.
"No Country for Old Men" is a great movie alright. You'll probably like Fargo (the movie and the show) since you like Anton Chigurh;
Lorne Malvo from the first season of Fargo is a lot like Anton Chigurh.
