YEAH. It's an awesome show. You can't go wrong with any show that features a two-hundred-year-old undead goth loli necromancer.

If you're referring to when they combine for battle, I'm familiar with those sequences. Seems there are never enough magical girl battles. :D

I'd recommend the MGLN series, and these two. Those last two were actually some of the Saturday morning anime I woke up for.

Agreed with everything you've said in your Vividred Operation review, including the part where you mentioned Saturday morning cartoons. Shows that give off that feel are some of the best IMO. All in all I thought it was a good anime that could have been even better if there were more scenes similar to the first big aerial transformation/fight and the part later on when Rei showed off her bad ass moves whilst fleeing from that big building after she'd been caught spying on it. (I'm a little rusty on the facts as it's been at least a year or so since I'd first seen it).
