My dear Jawahar,
We are living in strange times. Sitla Sahai [must] may defend himself [have you seen him]. Please keep me informed of further developments. What is he? Is he a lawyer? Had he ever any connection with revolutionary activity?
As for the Congress, it would be better to make it as simple as possible so as to enable the present remaining workers to cope with it. [And] I know that your burden will be now increased.
But your [self] health*
I want your mental peace. I know that you will serve the country even as manager of a business. I am sure that Father will not mind any decision you may arrive at so long as it gives you complete peace.
