Personality[]

Tamikebao takes his job seriously, demanding that anyone who wanted to pass through his checkpoint must follow his orders. Despite his more gruff act while working, he was terrified by what he believed to be a ghost, showing a more superstitious outlook.[1]

Abilities and Powers[]

As a checkpoint guard, Tamikebao has some authority over who can pass between regions of Wano.[3]

History[]

Wano Country Saga[]

Wano Country Arc[]

Following the attempted assassination on the Shogun Orochi, the Straw Hat Pirates were all placed on wanted posters which were promptly spread around Wano. Tamikebao was deployed to a dock checkpoint leaving the Flower Capital and heading to Kuri. He demanded that anyone approaching the checkpoint must show their faces so that they may be identified. Usopp, Nico Robin, and Brook would use Brook's Devil Fruit ability to convince Tamikebao that they were being followed by a ghost. Tamikebao was terrified upon witnessing this, and allowed them to pass without any questions.[1]

Trivia[]

  • His name is a pun on obake mita (お化け見た?, "I saw a ghost") with the syllables in reverse order, referring to his reaction to Brook.
