Book manager for your library. Auto-detection of books and documents. For example, just download an Epub book, PDF journal, Microsoft Word documents or PDF article from the Internet so they appear in the reader for reading. Grouping books by authors and series. Collections (Bookshelves). The Collections tool (bookshelves) allows creating personal thematic collections. Books and documents can be added to several collections at the same time.

This app is fantastic, especially with features like converting any book to an audiobook and offering multiple voices. However, there’s a minor but sometimes frustrating issue: occasionally, the app loses my place, jumping back about 40 pages after closing. For someone like me, who drives often and relies on hands-free functionality, this glitch can be annoying. Overall, though, it’s a great tool with lots of potential for audiobook fans!

At first, after purchasing this, I thought that the syncing was not working correctly since a bunch of files seemed like they weren't syncing onto the secondary device because it said that there documents without files. Later, I discovered that when I searched for those same books on the Read Era app, they really were there after all. So, if you have a similar issue, that might help. Reaching out to their tech support was very helpful and they were very responsive over email.

Had the free version for years and switched over mainly for the voice feature and still love it! Even with the free version customization is very open, organization is present and it has a highlight and quotes feature. Only recommendations I can think of are custom colours for highlights and custom book covers cause I have plenty of pdfs without covers and they ruin the aesthetic of my app because if their nakedness 😭
