Also Felix, who emigrated to Canada, is the black ...See moreFor the wedding of Chris and Emily, the youngest daughter of the foundry entrepreneur Richard Schwarz and his wife Barbara, the four adult siblings come together in their parents' house. Also Felix, who emigrated to Canada, is the black sheep of the family. A sudden alarm in the house turns the living room into a panic room and Emily is caught up in an old trauma: as a child, she was kidnapped for three weeks and locked in a box in the forest for hours. Chris manages to calm his wife down, but the celebratory mood is soon disrupted by further family tensions: Felix wants to buy a farm in Canada and have his inheritance to the company paid out now. Eva watches her brother-in-law suspiciously because she feels threatened by Chris in her leadership position in the company. Only Leo, as always, tries to keep the family together with a good mood, even though she has her own problems.
