MIT CSAIL Student Committee (CSC)

The CSAIL Student Committee (CSC) is a student organization for the CSAIL graduate student body. CSC organizes a variety of social events and communicates the students' needs to the administration.

We use our funding to run a variety of social activities. To obtain event updates, students may subscribe to the csail-social mailing list or find events through facebook and google calendar. Some of the events we organize are:

• Semi Spontaneous Social Event (SSSE): Fill out the form to request reimbursement for an SSSE.
• CSAIL Olympics: A series of competitive events during IAP.
• Girl Scout Benefit: G9 on Fridays at 5:30pm
• Muffin Monday: free muffins and other confections on Mondays at 5pm in G9.
• CSAIL Karaoke: a night of karaoke with fellow CSAILors! food included
• Pub Nights: cross-departmental social nights at the R&D pub semi-monthly on Fridays. 21+
• Board Game Nights: board games and occasionally pizza on G9 every Friday
• Movie Nights: group outings to watching movies - subsidized by the CSC with dinner

On the 4th floor of Dreyfoos tower, near Star (D-463):

• Pool Table
• Pool/Foosball Locker: a locker that contains pool cues and foosball balls
• Snack Locker: buy snacks from the snack locker for cheap

On the 5th floor catwalk, between Dreyfoos and Gates:

• Ping Pong Table
• DDR Mat: a hard DDR mat. bring your computer to play
• Fun Locker: communal supplies! including pool balls, video game consoles, games, etc.

On the Dreyfoos side of the 5th floor catwalk, near the stairwell:

• 'Coke Bunny' Vending Machine: buy snacks from the snack locker for cheap
