Top 3 take-aways from a recent research #interview conducted by Redeye AB in which Martin, CEO of Xbrane Biopharma AB, shared the following positive news: #1 40% growth of net sales of #Ximluci from our commercialization partner STADA Group to end customers, #2 Optimistic in finding commercialization partners for #certolizumab pegol and #nivolumab #biosimilars, #3 Nivolumab biosimilar #Xdivane: Only one single #clinical trial necessary for supporting #MMA (EMA) and #BLA (FDA). This will probably bring down #clinical trial costs by 60%.

Yesterday I led several discussions on #PrecisionOncology at Nordic Precision Medicine Forum @MarinaTower Stockholm, Sweden. Precision oncology enables tailored prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up based on the individual patient's uniqueness which includes the genetic profile, increased knowledge about the protein and specific patterns of biomarkers. These signatures allow them to divide cancer categories into far more precise types and subtypes. Individualized Treatment will be possible thanks to precision oncology. When doctors tailor treatments based sometimes on the DNA signature of an individual patient’s tumour, by analysing both tumour and blood samples, they can make informed decisions about the most effective therapies. As treatments become more effective, or precise, both for the patient and from a socio-economical point of view, it can reduce unnecessary suffering for patients with improved outcome. Traditionally, cancers have been classified based on the type of tissue or body part where they originate (like lung, brain, breast, or colon). However, now radical shift is underway. Eminent participants were: Henrik Gronberg, Professor, Senior physician, Cancer Researcher of the Year, the Swedish Cancer Society, 2022, Karolinska Institutet held a lecture on "ProBio, An outcome-adaptive and randomized multi-arm biomarkerdriven study with metastatic prostate cancer" Helena Ullgren, Specialist Nurse Oncology and palliative care, Karolinska Institut presented on "Cancer nursing in the era of precision medicine. Margareta Haag, Chairperson, Network Against Cancer & Nasim Bergman Farrokhnia, Senior Industry Advisor, Healthcare Executive, Global Healthcare and Life Science Team, Microsoft focused on "How to measure what we want to know and know what we want to measure from a patient's perspective". We finalized the morning discussing how we can achieve a more #patientcentric precision oncology in Sweden and the Nordics. I was representing #AllCan Sweden together with Margareta and Nasim. Important to understand how various actors are shaping the new landscape of Health care‼️ Thankful for my eminent participants and the excellent job they are all doing to pave way to better health and modernizing health care. Clinical trials are critical in advancing medical knowledge, improving patient care through innovations, and containing healthcare costs. A survey by Lääketeollisuus ry / Pharma Industry Finland and ESiOR Oy demonstrates that clinical trials conducted by pharmaceutical companies have substantial societal benefits for Finland. The value of a single clinical trial to patient care is estimated at €1.2 million, while the social value to the Finnish healthcare system amounts to approximately €10 million. Therefore, to stop the current decline in clinical trials in Finland and to attract healthcare investments, we need to continue developing our health care system to remain competitive and secure continuous access to new innovative medicines for the Finnish patients.

Patient Safety is our number one priority at Novo Nordisk and we currently work on awareness campaigns to alert patients about fake news about health and about the risk of fake medicines. This is an important topic, and we encourage patients to consider the following steps before purchasing a medication: -Does the packaging and medicine appear as you expected? -Does the price align to what you would pay from a regulated drugstore? -Am I purchasing from a trusted source? -What is the harm a fake medicine could cause? Together we can all raise #awareness on patient safety and avoid unnecessary risks.

🚀 Exciting Milestone Reached: Phase 2a Study for LIB-01 Begins! 🚀 We’re thrilled to share that Dicot Pharma AB has received regulatory approval to initiate the Phase 2a clinical trial of LIB-01, a promising candidate for treating erectile dysfunction. This placebo-controlled study will take place across Sweden, Denmark, and here in the Netherlands, with CTC Netherlands as one of the six clinical sites involved. The trial will evaluate LIB-01's efficacy in 140 patients over an eight-week period, with participant screening set to start soon. We’re proud to contribute to this study alongside the dedicated team at CTC Clinical Trial Consultants AB and look forward to supporting Dicot Pharma's journey toward advancing treatment options for erectile dysfunction. Lundbeck, a global leader in brain health has been able to find potential drug targets associated with headache disorders, such as migraine, 80% faster than traditional methods using AI. This was done through a combination of knowledge graphs, a way to identify and analyze the link between different data sets, and AI to augment its research process and generate hypotheses in silico, meaning using computational models instead of physical experiments. The prediction model we developed together achieved a 77% success rate in pinpointing known gene-headache associations.
