The Grasshopper (Russian: Попрыгунья) is a 1955 Soviet drama movie directed by Samson Samsonov.[1][2] It stars Sergey Bondarchuk, Lyudmila Tselikovskaya, and Vladimir Druzhnikov. The movie is based on a short story of the same title by Anton Chekhov.
