Object history
English: The arms were granted on August 21, 1954 and confirmed on July 15, 1976. The chief shows the arms of Bavaria. The moor head is taken from the arms of the Prince-Bishopric of Freising. The bishops ruled the area from the 13th century until 1803. The rose is taken from the arms of the Counts of Moosburg, who used three roses in their arms.
