Breen are a non-playable race in Star Trek Online. Their home planet Breen in the Alpha Quadrant is the core world of the Breen Confederacy, their state. Despite their ongoing presence in interstellar affairs, the precise location of the planet remained unknown until some time ago. It's in the Breen System in the Breen Sector.
Physiology[]
Although the Breen are believed to be humanoid, they have never been observed without their body armor. Thus, their physiology has never been studied. They have indicated that their clothing functions dually as armor and a refrigerator, causing many to speculate that their homeworld is intensely cold.

- the Breen outfit can be obtained and worn by any captain from any faction, they can be obtained from the Lobi store for 300 Lobi the pack is character bound.
- Thot Zan was the name of a random player's character who was breen, this name would have some meaning as the player of the said character would nearly be suspended for having the word "thot" in the character's name. though this player had the report and incident cleared up with Cryptic's staff this incident would spark some outrage and fear as some Breen NPCs have the "Thot" title in them and other players who have Breen characters also use "Thot" in the names. the word "thot" in Star Trek is used as a rank for high level Breen the real world use of "thot' is used as a derogatory insult toward woman. though players who have breen characters that have the word "Thot" in the name may not face suspension you can still be reported by other players and will often lead to your character having a forced name change.
