• “Blood of Ancients”: In 2410, Starbase 234 is attacked and destroyed by the Heralds in a prelude to an assault on New Romulus.

• Starbase 234 is identical in appearance to a Tier 2 fleet starbase and has the same capabilities.
• Starbase 234 appeared in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "Redemption II" and "Unification I".
