The Apex Battleship is a major battleship used by the Hirogen. Their heavy armament and shielding outguns their Hunter Escort and nearly matches their Huntmaster Dreadnought.
Apex class Battleships have been seen with Transphasic Torpedo Launchers, Tetryon Beam Arrays, Heavy Cannons, and Turrets. They also use Ability: Jam Targeting Sensors and Ability: Energy Siphon quite often. Usually, the Siphon is activated once the players sensors are jammed.

- The Foundry does not have an NPC Contact version of the Apex; however, the vessel can be created in the "Costumes" tab.
- Prior to Season 8.5 and the introduction of the playable Hirogen Apex Heavy Battlecruiser, the Apex shared the same design as the Alien Battleship which was used by the minor species encountered in exploration clusters and the Acamarians in the Acamar System. The updated Apex also shares the same unique abilities as the playable vessel.
