- “Punch Through the Federation Blockade”: Being commanded by Chancellor J'mpok himself, the Kal'Ruq leads a Klingon battle group against a Starfleet blockade in the Yov'bot System.
- “Halting the Gorn Advance”: The Kal'Ruq leads a Gorn attack on the Tostig System.

- Any reference to Chancellor J'mpok being aboard the Kal'Ruq during its possible destruction in “Halting the Gorn Advance” has been removed in order to preserve continuity.
- In “Punch Through the Federation Blockade”, the Kal'Ruq sometimes spawns as a Vo'quv Dreadnought.
