Google provides translated versions of our Help Center, though they are not meant to change the content of our policies. The English version is the official language we use to enforce our policies. To view this article in a different language, use the language dropdown at the bottom of the page.
In November 2016, we will rename and reorganize our ad format policies for improved readability and understanding. Certain policy actions and corresponding messaging to Google advertisers will include updated policy names. These changes, however, will not impact what is currently restricted or prohibited per our policies.
Examples of what’s changing
Most of the technical specifications for ad formats will be moved from the Google Ads Policy Help Center to the Google Ads Help Center after the reorganization. For example, technical specifications for Image ads will be available on the Google Ads Help Center.
Some format policies will be split out into separate policy topics to aid in advertiser troubleshooting. For example, the "Use accurate and current reviews" policy in Review assets will be renamed and split into Inaccurate Reviews and Outdated Reviews policy topics.
