Hello, just wondering, if there is a way to re-enable the Insider Preview builds after having stopped them. I am currently stuck with a buggy build after I stopped it and I feel I may not have a choice but a clean re-install. As of now, the below is all that is displayed under my Insider Programme settings. Is there something within the Windows registry that can be re-enable I wonder? Thanks in advance.5Views0likes1CommentGoogle Drive Folder disappears from Quick Access after every PC reboot despite being pinned.
I am on Windows 11 laptop. I have pinned my Google Drive Folder to Quick Access sidebar in Windows Explorer for quick access. But every time my system reboots, I find the folder disappeared. I then have to traverse through the folders and pin it again but it will stay only until the system is restarted. I have tried several tricks but to no avail! I'm sharing the screenshot to make it more clear in case you missed it.2.1KViews2likes3CommentsHow to Switch from Legacy to UEFI BIOS Mode on Windows 11
Has anyone managed to transition a Windows 11 system from Legacy mode to UEFI mode without having to undergo a full system reinstallation? My current computer is operating on Windows 11, and upon inspection, I discovered that it is configured in Legacy mode. I am interested in switching it to UEFI mode primarily to enhance performance and compatibility. Although I have come across various guides online, they mostly suggest reinstalling the system or indicate that the process is quite intricate. Restarting from scratch is not something I wish to do. Has anyone attempted a direct conversion approach? Is this procedure overly complicated? Could you kindly share any specific steps or your personal experience with this transition?3.5KViews0likes2CommentsHow to mark a print job as completed in universal print with virtual printer
With graph API, I am able to register a virtual printer in universal print. When a job is submitted it is marked as paused. I am able to download the pdf attached to the print job and set the task to completed. After task is completed, the job gets a new status as pending. I am not able to figure out how to mark the job as completed after downloading it. I do not want to print the job in real. Only thing we want is to download and save the pdf and mark the job as completed.12Views0likes0CommentsChat live tiktok

My iPhone screen has recently stopped responding to touch. No matter how I click, it doesn't respond. Restarting doesn't work. It feels like it's "frozen". I'm using a Windows 11 laptop. I tried restoring it with iTunes, but it just wouldn't connect. The phone is completely unresponsive, as if it's in a "silent abyss". Has anyone encountered a similar situation and knows how to solve this problem? Now my phone has become a decoration. It's really urgent. Please help!2.9KViews0likes14CommentsGames Crash to Desktop -Radar Pre Leak 64 - Been Trying to Fix For 4 Days
Hello, I've built my new pc and for the past 4 days I've been trying to debug this error where games just randomly crash, no dialog pop up just close. I've tried everything to fix it. I've updated the bios, reinstalled windows, cleared CMOS, reseated ram, reseated graphics card, stress tested on HWINFO64, disabled windows firewall, uninstalled riot vanguard, reinstalled graphics drivers, installed AMD chipset drivers, and disabled core isolation Has happened on Deadlock, CS2, and Trackmania so far. Deadlock and Cs2 multiple times. I get great FPS in these games. Specs Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus Wi-Fi Ryzen 7600x Zotac Gaming RTX 2080 AMP 32 GB 6400mhz ram running at default 5200mhz 1tb M.2 NVME 850 W PSU Edition Windows 11 Education Version 24H2 Installed on 11/6/2024 OS build 26100.2161 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.32.0 Windows event viewer said RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64, not sure if this is the root cause but its my best guess now so i reseated the RAM. I am not running XMP, just default settings. So far I've recorded 3 crashes in event viewer - one in deadlock, one in cs2 and one in trackmania. Hello everyone, unfortunatelly it happend again to me that my PC has restarted overnight, while an update needed to be installed. How can I disable this nonesense? I configured the GPO policy "No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled automatic update installations". However, Windows still reboots itself after some time. It's driving me crazy, how isn't there an option for never automatically rebooting my computer? And I know I can pause updates, but only for 5 weeks or so, which isn't enough time.116Views0likes1CommentDefine Patch Approvals in WSUS but pull patches from Windows Update (Internet)
We currently use WSUS to distribute Microsoft patches and also use Solarwinds Patch Manager to push 3rd party patches into WSUS. This allows us to fully patch an endpoint with all MS and 3rd party software patches via Windows Update Agent/WSUS. We now have a fleet of laptops connected back to our Datacenter via a VPN and they are consuming a lot of bandwith during patching cycles. We have the following challanges: We do use some throttling on BITS/Delivery opitmization but have had mixed results We have MECM but don't use Cloud Management gatway as was deemed too expensive. we have not moved patching to MECM yet. If we use Windows Update for Business we cannot patch 3rd party updates and loose some control around pilot groups and reporting in our estimation Q:So is there a way for us to continue to define theapproved patches/metadatavia WSUS but have the system pull the patches files from theinternet(Windows Update) source? Perhaps this is possible with MECM?117Views0likes2CommentsCould my new Windows 11 Enterprise desktop have CrowdStrike issues?
I received a new desktop computer this March. For the last several months, I have been experiencing at least weekly BSOD issues. And other problems as well. I cannot use SQL Server Management Studio 2019 or 2022, without getting errors: I have clicked the Copy button many times, only to have the issue come back again and again. I've clicked the Don't Copy button, which just results in SSMS closing. Azure Data Studio has similar problems. The BSOD problems are caused by several different drives failing, such as pcw.sys, ntfs.sys, FLTMGR.sys. I can be in any application at all, like Visual Studio, Word, VS Code, Excel, MS Edge, etc., when suddenly that app will freeze, then close. But the one thing that my new PC doesn't do is never allow me to log in, such as is suggested by this link https://www.crowdstrike.com/en-us/blog/falcon-update-for-windows-hosts-technical-details/ So, I'm wondering, with all the numerous and seemingly unrelated issues that my machine has been experiencing over the last several months, could it be experiencing a CrowdStrike issue from July?10Views0likes0CommentsHow to remove "optional features" forever?

Remote Desktop on Win11 Pro toggle unable to turn on
Hello all, I noticed that the feature of "Remote Desktop" in Settings on Windows 11 Pro edition (version 23H2), is not staying in the "ON" position after trying to toggle it. It displays a message I can confirm it and it switches back to the "OFF" position. Troubleshooting steps done: Reset the NIC (which is not the issue) Taken the workstation off the domain to confirm if it was a domain restriction but will not turn on even as a local admin account (which is not the issue) I have disabled third-party AV (which is not the issue) I have disabled the Windows firewall (which is not the issue) I have allowed the port 3389 (which is not the issue) And last, there is no GPO policy It was working before and three days ago unable to RDP to my workstation. Anybody has run into this issue before and fixed it? Thanks1KViews0likes9Comments- 324Views0likes4Comments
