This lovely responsive icon set was created by Icons8 exclusively for our Codrops readers. The icons come in various useful formats including SVG, EPS, PDF and optimized PNGs in different ready-to-use sizes.
About the Icon Set
The Office icons come in some decent colors and are suitable for many different themes and topics. They include various popular and useful pictograms and were designed carefully with different size variations in mind.
As you can see, the icons are build upon and designed with
- 16, 30, 40, and 80px grid
- fine pastel colors
- delicate 1px borders
Responsive Icons
Icons8 designers have drawn each icon in four levels of detail. Drawn in four grid sizes, these icons fit any screen:
- 16x16px and 30x30px for standard displays
- 40x40px and 80x80px for retina
The Collection
Icons8 presents 150 icons in 4 variations which is 600 icons in total. To preview them all is a bit difficult but here’s a try:

There is no particular pattern for how this collection is arranged. Icons8 designers started drawing these icons recently and created some 300 icons by picking the most popular requests for icon designs. The set includes quite varied icon concepts like, for example, binoculars, winter, cake, and the Dribbble logo. So, if you’ve always wanted to create an app where a frozen Dribbble designer is searching for a cake with his binoculars — these icons could be a great starting point for your design 🙂 Icons8 is adding about 800 new icons per month, so within a few months, you might be able to design more complex interfaces 😉
